TJMHC Names Lynn Davis Interim Executive Director
From the Desk of Sharon Glassberg, TJMHC Board President
On behalf of Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center’s (TJMHC) Board of Directors, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Lynn Davis as the Museum’s Interim Executive Director. She assumes that role effective June 1, 2026, and will work alongside our outgoing Executive Director, Lori Shepherd, through the end of June.
Lynn began her Jewish communal service in 2007 as the director of the University of Arizona’s DNA Shoah Project and has been a familiar and highly respected face of our community ever since. Most recently, she has served with distinction as the founding director of the Museum’s Rabbi Joseph H. Gumbiner Community Action Project. Over her years with TJMHC, she has consistently demonstrated an unwavering commitment to Holocaust education, social justice, fighting antisemitism, and fostering meaningful community connections.
Lynn is exceptionally well-prepared to step into this important role. Her Master of Arts in Jewish Professional Studies from the Spertus Institute of Jewish Learning and Leadership, along with more than two decades of nonprofit leadership experience, demonstrate her longstanding commitment to Jewish life, learning, and the broader Tucson community. The Board is deeply confident that under her guidance, the Museum will continue its mission of celebrating Jewish history, teaching the lessons of the Holocaust to combat antisemitism, and building a safer, stronger Southern Arizona for us all.
As TJMHC’s Board of Directors works actively to ensure a thoughtful, successful transition that honors the past and looks boldly toward the future, please join us in congratulating Lynn on her new role! We look forward to the energy and leadership she will bring during this exciting time for the Museum.
