TJMHC concludes this year’s Lakin Lecture Series on Antisemitism by welcoming Rabbi Dr. Ariel Burger, the author of Witness: Lessons from Elie Wiesel’s Classroom. Burger is the founding director and senior scholar of The Witness Institute, whose mission is to empower emerging leaders, inspired by the life and legacy of Elie Wiesel. His work integrates spirituality, the arts, and strategies for social change.
This event can be attended either in-person at the Tucson J or via Zoom. Those intending to watch with Zoom will receive a Zoom invitation link to their email shortly before the event.
This Lakin Lecture Series on Antisemitism is made possible with the generous support from the Alma and Ed Lakin Education Fund, which was established at the Jewish Community Foundation of Southern Arizona by their daughter in order to honor Alma and Eddie’s lifelong commitment to Holocaust Education, the people of Israel, to Jewish Life, and to the combatting of antisemitism and advocacy for social justice.
With special thanks to our program partners Jewish Philanthropies of Southern Arizona and The J (Tucson Jewish Community Center)
