Making Family History Come Alive: Book Launch and Reception with Evelyn Damashek Varady

Join us for a conversation with author Evelyn Damashek Varady about her new book, Two Cars and a Wagon: A Family's Holocaust Escapes and a Daughter's Remembrance.

The book tells the story of Varady's parents, newlyweds at the time, and her father's teenage brother, Marek, as they struggled to survive across Ukraine and Poland during the Holocaust.

Evelyn Damashek Varady is a second-generation Holocaust descendant and educator dedicated to preserving her family's history.

Copies of Two Cars and a Wagon will be available for purchase, and Evelyn will be signing books during the reception.

Attendance is free; registration is required.
