Tucson Jewish Museum & Holocaust Center is hosting a roundtable conversation with three local journalists: Martiza Felix, Investigative Journalist, Producer, Writer, and Founder of Conecta Arizona; Joseph Jaafari, Editor-in-Chief of LOOKOUT Publications; Dylan Smith, Editor and Publisher of the Tucson Sentinel.

The event ties into TJMHC’s Contemporary Human Rights Exhibit, Media Matters, which examines who owns the media, why so many people distrust it, and how AI is changing the way information spreads.

The roundtable will give participants a chance to hear directly from working journalists about how they verify sources, navigate bias, and build public trust in an age of deepfakes and disinformation. The conversation will also include the CRAAP Test, a practical framework featured in the exhibit for evaluating any source of information. The event is free, but registration is required.
